THE MOST EXCITING DAY OF MY life By Nithyasree - RMK College

THE MOST EXCITING DAY OF MY LIFE

I could still remember the most exciting day in my life. The breeze from the air conditioner wafted our faces. It was hard to hear what the spectators and cheering team shouted because my heartbeats where as loud as their voices.my first music in a huge big stage, gave me the most exciting memory

I have never been part in any of those big stage shows that too specialized in the toughest music’s of all that is Hindustani. Although I practiced the song several times, I was not so confident. As the program started, many took their snacks and some were keenly listening to the show. But I sat there still and stared at the stage impatiently. Seeing my nails being wasted, my friend enquired about my excitement mixed with flavor of nervousness and I said “i am not nervous, just excited and can’t wait for my turn. I explained “I hope I can win something for my academy no matters the prize stands for order. We sat there and watched the program. Finally the loudspeaker said “all the grade three students of Hindustani, come to the dais. With my legs trembling I went to the stage and took a deep breath. The girl before me sang beautifully, with her own expressions and set a challenge. And then, it was my turn. I started and at the middle had a crack and was really disappointed for that. Thinking of my master’s encouragement, I concluded my song with a great applause.

And then, was the result time, every participants had gone through a shower in their faces. The third and second prize was fetched by two girls of the same academy. I lost hope and finally the voice came, first prize bagged by M.R.MUSIC academy, and that was me! I couldn’t believe what was happening around me. With a huge smile, I approached the stage. And this was the most exciting day in my whole life. And I used to think of those memories when I need a little more excitement!

“I feel the need to endanger myself every so often”

Why Soaked Almonds are Better Than Raw Almonds

1.Soaking almonds releases enzyme lipase which is beneficial for digestion of fats.
 2. Help with weight-loss - The monounsaturated fats in almonds curb your appetite and keep you full.
So feel free to snack on them because they'll help you avoid binge-eating and trigger weight-loss.

Choosing between soaked almonds and raw almonds isn't just a matter of taste, it's about picking the healthier option.
Why soaked almonds are better - Firstly, the brown peel of almonds contains tannin which inhibits nutrient absorption. Once you soak almonds the peel comes off easily and allows the nut to release all nutrients easily.
How to soak? Soak a handful of almonds in half a cup of water. Cover them and allow them to soak for 8 hours. Drain the water, peel off the skin and store them in plastic container. These soaked almonds will last you for about a week.
Benefits of soaked almonds:
1. Help with digestion - Soaking almonds helps in releasing enzymes which in turn help with digestion. Soaking almonds releases enzyme lipase which is beneficial for digestion of fats.
2. Help with weight-loss - The monounsaturated fats in almonds curb your appetite and keep you full. So feel free to snack on them because they'll help you avoid binge-eating and trigger weight-loss.
3. Almonds keep your heart healthy, reduce bad cholesterol (low density lipoprotein) and increase good cholesterol (high density lipoprotein).
4. They are a good source of antioxidants: Vitamin E present in soaked almonds works as an antioxidant which inhibits free radical damage that prevents ageing and inflammation.
5. Fight Cancer: Soaked almonds contain Vitamin B17 which is vital for fighting cancer.
6. Flavonoid present in almonds suppresses tumor growth.
7. Help in lowering and maintaining glucose levels and regulating high blood pressure.
8. Soaked almonds contain folic acid which reduces birth defects.
